Our Quality Assurance regulations consists of a wide range of audits and inspections of our production facility to ensure safe, high-quality food products while maintaining best in class industry practices.

Measuring Factors

All of our classic and gourmet thaw and serve donuts are recipe-based and inspected closely during the production and processing practices. We ensure that the product standards follow uniform appearance and volume to a high-degree of accuracy.

  • Closely reviewing all new donut recipes by outlining the ingredients and creating the appropriate product specification forms to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Sourcing and ordering the freshest ingredients from trusted and reputable suppliers.
  • Unpacking all incoming ingredient shipments under strict quality control conditions to ensure that they are the right quality and from the correct origin.
  • Ensuring that all ingredients are stored at the right temperatures and under the correct conditions.
  • Using approved and highly sanitary measures to handle ingredients until they’re ready for use.
  • Applying QA tests at every stage of production to ensure quality, correct appearance, temperature, texture, and weight.

Quality Assurance Checkpoints.

Multiple supervisors and QA specialists are on the floor at all times, monitoring each step of the production process and ensuring that proper practices are followed. Hourly checks occur for the following checkpoints during production:

BRC “A” Rating Certified

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) requires companies to achieve and maintain a unique standard of excellence by adhering to the highest Food & Product Safety standards set forth by the food-manufacturing industry. Our ‘A’ certification confirms that we regularly meet and maintain that goal.

CFIA Approved/ Licenced

Our facility is approved and licensed by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

GFSI stands for the Global Food Safety Initiative, which develops and supports food safety management systems to ensure that certified facilities are processing safe food for consumers. This certification is universally recognized as a sign of excellence in food safety audits.

All of the ingredients, additives, and processing aids used to produce our donuts are Kosher Dairy COR certified.

Our donuts are produced in a peanut-free facility, which makes them safe for those with peanut allergies, provided that they are thawed and served in a peanut-free environment.
